Free Virtual Lunch-N-Learn (August 19th @ 11:30am) Subtracting Sugar from the Added Sugar Phenomenon

Adults and young adults in the U.S. consume about 17 teaspoons of added sugar each day, more than two to three times the recommended daily allowance. How can we work toward a diet that contains less added sugar? In this free, online statewide Worksite Wellness webinar, Katie Godin, RD, LDN from LifeStyle Medical Center will discuss ways to reduce your overall sugar intake and dietary considerations when choosing sugar alternatives. After a brief presentation, Katie make no-sugar-added lemon blueberry “nice cream,” a healthier take on ice cream. The recipe will be shared with all who sign.
