For support, referrals or to schedule a counseling appointment, contact Counseling for Faculty and Staff (CFS) at 828-262-4951. A CFS team member will respond to provide assistance or set up an appointment.

Counseling for Faculty and Staff provides counseling, consultation, training, and referrals for concerns that impact both your personal and professional lives. Services are provided for faculty, staff, and their immediate families.
CFS also offers workshops for faculty and staff throughout the academic year to support the mental health and well-being of the App State community.
Health Promotion for Faculty and Staff
Health Promotion for Faculty and Staff is dedicated to providing programs and services designed to promote a healthier lifestyle and enhance the quality of life for our staff, faculty, retirees, and their spouses/domestic partners.
Our comprehensive approach includes major components such as health and fitness facilities and programming, preventative screenings, nutrition counseling, and a range of special services tailored to meet individual needs.
