Health and Wellness Presentations

What to Expect from a Health Promotion for Faculty and Staff Presentation

At Appalachian State University, we believe that employee well-being is essential to creating a thriving campus community. Our worksite wellness presentations are designed to support faculty and staff health, foster connection, and help build a culture of wellness across campus.

When and Where

  • We can join an existing departmental meeting or schedule a dedicated session that best fits your team's needs and availability.

Customized Content

  • Select from a variety of wellness topics, or partner with us to create a presentation tailored specifically to the interests, goals, and needs of your department.

Personalized Approach

  • Prior to the presentation, we can distribute an anonymous survey to better understand your team's wellness interests and challenges. This allows us to customize the content and provide relevant resources and strategies.

Supporting Worksite Wellness at Appalachian State

  • These presentations are a key component of Appalachian State University's commitment to worksite wellness and employee well-being. By engaging in wellness education and conversations, departments can help create a healthier, more supportive, and more connected workplace culture across campus.

Interactive and Engaging

  • Presentations include opportunities for discussion, questions, and practical takeaways that participants can apply both at work and in their personal lives.

Resources and Ongoing Support

  • Participants will learn about wellness resources, programs, and services available through Health Promotion for Faculty and Staff and other campus partners.

We look forward to partnering with your department to strengthen well-being, enhance employee engagement, and contribute to a culture of wellness at Appalachian State University.
