Strength Training: The Missing Link to Longevity

Whole body muscular strength has now been identified as a key component to combating mortality and morbidity. Research has shown that your overall muscular health can be assessed via handgrip strength to identify at-risk individuals for all-cause mortality. A whole body strength training program is a public health imperative to adding years to life and life to years. Identify what your current handgrip strength is and learn proper strength training for longevity.

In this session we will discuss managing overuse pain, and trying to understand when is the right time to rest and recover versus do more (and what that more should entail).
