Personal Training & Wellness Program

The latest version of the Personal Training & Wellness Program at HPFS is designed to empower participants in achieving their wellness goals, covering essential aspects such as strength training, cardiovascular fitness, nutrition, and accountability.

Program Overview

  • Session Format: Our personal training program follows an 8 and 16-week session structure, providing a focused and effective approach to personal training.
  • Cost: 
    • Each 8-week session is priced at $150.00, inclusive of all program components and services.
    • Each 16-week session is priced at $300.00, inclusive of all program components and services.
  • Location: All personal training appointments take place at our Varsity Gym location, ensuring a dedicated and well-equipped space for your fitness journey.
  • Certified Trainers: Rest assured, our program is conducted exclusively by certified Personal Trainers from HPFS, ensuring expert guidance and support.

Session Components

  • Weekly Personal Training Appointments
    • Enjoy two 30-minute personal training sessions per week during the session dates.
    • Choose between M/W or T/R set times for the duration of the session.
    • Make-Up Week: Benefit from a dedicated 1-week "make-up" availability for participants and trainers to accommodate any missed sessions.
  • Workout Plans
    • Access individualized workout plans conveniently stored in a shared Google Drive, tailored to your specific fitness goals.
  • Optional Assessments
    • Participate in optional Pre & Post Fitness Assessments to track your progress and celebrate your achievements.
  • Nutritional Counseling
    • Opt for optional nutritional counseling, available virtually or in person through the IHHS Interprofessional clinic.

Thank you for your interest in the Personal Training and Wellness Program! Please fill out and submit your interest form and we will reach out to you about the scheduling process for our upcoming sessions.

 

**Preference will be given to :

  •  Participants who have not worked with a trainer since Spring 2025 semester.
  • The date this form was submitted.
We will begin designing these schedules the week of August 1st, 2025 and reach out with more information.

2025-2026 Session Dates

Summer (updated 5/9/2025)
  • Session 5: May 26th - June 26th, 2025  (5 weeks) cost: $100 FULL
  • Session 6: July 7th - August 7th, 2025  (5 weeks)  cost: $100 (email mcdanielst@appstate to request availability)
  • Session 7: May 26th - August 7th, 2025 (10 weeks)  cost: $200 FULL

Fall 2025 

  • Session 1: 8 weeks
    • Consult week: August 25th - 28th (1 hour session with your trainer for assessments and goal setting)
    • Training weeks: September 1st - October 17th (2, 30-minute appointments with your trainer )
    • Cost: $150 
  • Session 2: 8 weeks 
    • Consult week:  October 20th - October 24th (1 hour session with your trainer for assessments and goal setting)
    • Training weeks:  October 27th - December 11th (2, 30-minute appointments with your trainer )
    • Cost: $150 
  • Session 3:  16  weeks
    • Consult week: August 25th - 28th (1 hour session with your trainer for assessments and goal setting)
    • Training weeks:  September 1st - December 11th (2, 30-minute appointments with your trainer )
    • Cost: $300
